1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let us keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the service is used. This policy covers cookies and similar technologies like localStorage and sessionStorage.
2. Cookies we set
Strictly necessary — always on
- smspin_session — signed, httpOnly refresh token cookie. Keeps you signed in across visits. 7 days, sliding.
- smspin_csrf — cross-site request forgery token. Session-only.
- smspin_locale — remembers your preferred language. 1 year.
- smspin_ref — referral source, so we credit the right referrer if you sign up. 30 days.
Functional — opt in via account settings
- smspin_theme — remembers your theme preference.
- smspin_dashboard_* — remembers column widths, filters, and other dashboard UI state.
Analytics — opt-in only
If you consent via the cookie banner, we set anonymized analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider that does not build cross-site profiles.
3. Third-party cookies
Payment processing pages may set cookies from Stripe or our crypto gateways. These are governed by the respective providers' cookie policies and are only set when you initiate a payment.
4. Your choices
- Cookie banner — when you first visit, choose which optional categories to allow. You can change your choice anytime from Settings → Privacy.
- Browser controls — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and may break parts of the service.
- Do Not Track — we honor DNT signals by disabling all non-essential cookies when received.
5. Changes to this policy
When we add or remove cookies, we update this page and (for material changes) the cookie banner. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
